Why New Build Assist Exists
The residential building process is complex. Contracts can be difficult to understand, inclusions can vary from builder to builder, and small oversights during construction can become expensive problems if they are not identified early.
New Build Assist exists to bridge the gap between homeowners and builders.
We help clients understand what they are signing before they commit, then support the build with independent third-party inspections at critical stages.
This benefits everyone involved.
Clients gain clarity, confidence and peace of mind. Builders work with better-informed clients who understand expectations from the beginning. Site managers receive additional quality-control support during a busy construction process. Trades know their work will be reviewed, which helps encourage care, accountability and better workmanship on site.
Our role is not to create conflict between clients and builders. It is to reduce confusion, support communication, verify quality, and help the build progress with fewer avoidable issues.

Experience Behind the Brand
New Build Assist was founded by Luke Dodson, who has spent more than 20 years in the building industry — including many years working directly alongside trades.
Having also been through the process of building his own home, Luke understands both the builder’s perspective and the uncertainty many homeowners experience.
That practical experience shapes the calm, structured approach New Build Assist brings to every project.
